Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar storage in the browser (local storage) for CV drafts while you work in the builder.

These are needed to run the site. They do not require extra consent.

• careerpilot_locale — remembers language preference (1 year).
• perfectcv_consent — stores whether you allowed optional cookies (1 year).
• Supabase Auth cookies — keep you signed in after login (session / refresh; set by our auth provider).

Set only if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner:

• perfectcv_ref — affiliate referral code from a creator link (?ref=), so a later purchase can be attributed (60 days, HttpOnly).

If you choose essential cookies only, we will not set the referral cookie and we will remove it if it was already stored.

The CV builder stores a draft in your browser (careerpilot.builder.cv.v2 and related keys) so you do not lose work. That data stays on your device until you clear it or we save a signed-in profile. It is not a cookie.

Use the cookie banner when it appears, or clear cookies for this site in your browser and reload. You can also email hello@perfectcv.app.
